More Clarification on Report
Sol let me in on more specifics about the report (he didn’t print it, so I haven’t seen it). He said that there was reports of “malignant neoplasm” on the chest wall. It also had the word recurrence. That means that there is some recurrence of cancer near the original site. In addition, the report said that suspicious new growths were found on the lungs and liver. Each growth was really small, between 3-8 mm. That’s the goal of these…catch it early if it does come back, right?
Only the Lord knows the outcome, but please pray that when they go in for further review that they will find nothing. Please pray for complete healing! This is a real blow to us and we are struggling to find meaning and peace in it all. Pray for us as we wait the weekend out. We’ll keep you updated.
Love,
The Rodriguez Family

It’s hard for *me* not to be angry/frustrated that you have to wait the weekend out to find out such important news. I am definitely sending lots of prayers and love your way. I have two friends who were told recently that they had suspicious growths (one on her liver and the other on her lungs) and in both cases it turned out to be nothing. In fact, in one case, the growth on her liver turned out to be a “birthmark.” I am hoping this will be the case with you and that you will find that you are, indeed, cancer-free.
Please, please let me know if there is anything I can do.
On a lighter note, your pictures are so adorable – you look so gorgeous with your little pixie hair cut.
I love you guys.

It was great to see you today. I hope that our time together helped you to not focus or worry too much for at least a small amount of time. I can’t even begin to imagine what’s in your head right now. You are an amazing woman and I truly believe that this will turn out fine in the end. We wish we could be there to pray with your church family tomorrow morning, but we will send up our own prayers from here in Fresno. Keep us posted.

You know that we are praying…and have never stopped. After all this, you have earned the right not to have these scans done before a weekend.
Love ya,
