Radiology appointment tomorrow
I just found out that I will have a radiology appointment tomorrow 4/3 at 10:00. I think it is to get me all set up to begin treatment. It is supposed to take about an hour and will be simulations of the real deal. From my limited understanding, gleaned from “The Idiot’s Guide to Chemotherapy and Radiation”, they’ll be scanning my whole body a few times to create a 3-D computer model, so that they can get the exact “line of fire” and only radiate the chest wall and avoid the organs as best they can. I guess we’ll see tomorrow.

Monica, you are amazing. I just love reading your updates. I have not commented lately, but be assured that I am reading and still praying. I took the picture you sent at Christmas to my office at work because I’m there so many more hours and you get a lot more prayers that way!! Also, people point at the picture and ask if you are my daughter. . . . I tell them “No, but she is a very special lady who I am praying for!!”

I haven’t seen you guys in to way to long. I have to stop by to chase Kai around for a while. I am so happy to read that you are cancer free:) I will keep praying for God to give you the strenght to keep going.
