Monica, for the past week and a half my worship team and I have prayed for you before we start practice. I pray for you daily. I know God will give you the strength you need through this ordeal because he won't give us anything that we can't handle!! God be with you and your family! I love you guys!

I love you so much and have been praying for you. I have a verse on my fridge I read often. When I read it today, it made me think of you. In context, Moses was passing the torch to Joshua and was encouraging him to continue in pursuit of the promised land. Moses reminds him and all the Israelites of God’s faithfulness to them in the past and his vision for their future. Deut. 31:8 says, ”Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you,” (NLT). It reminded me as I prayed for you that God is with you as He was with them through their desert journey, and I have been praying that you would experience His love and presence, His strength and faithfulness in a mighty way.

PS Love the Random Pictures - Kai is so dang cute!

We were having trouble with this earlier, so I'm just testing it.

Oh wow...So many of you have written in with prayers and encouraging words. Some of you I don't even know, and some of you I haven't seen or heard from in about 10 years! This has been so encouraging and has meant a lot to me especially these past three days. Thank you so much!

Yes, I do have pierced ears! :)

Dear Monica and Sol -

I count it a priviliege to be praying for you both and for you dear little Kai. I was sent the prayer request, for you Monica, and just want you know that many, many people are praying for you that you have never met. (The ”Body of Christ” truly is awesome!)

Keep looking to Him for your courage and stength. He will never, never leave your side. He alone really knows what this is all about and
it is Him you can ”hold on.”

Love, Sandy

Hi Monica

Your posts sound more encouraging. I'm so glad your sisters are able to come. Of course we prayed for you on Tuesday night. Everyone at Bible study wanted an update, so Marsha had me make an announcement as to how you were doing at that point. I also spoke with Arlie and gave her your website. I continue to think about you and pray for you daily. Have a wonderful time this weekend, and pretend you're not sick!

Our hearts are saddened by Monica’s passing. It’s difficult times like these I just don’t know what to say,
other than Peggy and I will continue to pray for you and your family.
