I’m so glad to hear that you are so at peace under the circumstances.
We are all praying for you and your family here in Fresno……keep the faith…that you are healed.
We were getting information from Jess and Martha but now I’m glad you put up the web site Sol so we can all know how Monica is doing and improving…

Hi Monica,
Bill and I had dinner with his aunt Cheryl last night. She's a believer too and always seems to be very in tune with God. She's a woman I respect and look up to a lot. Anywya, I shared what's going on with you with her and asked her to pray for you. Before I could finish speaking, she said firmly and very certianly that you'll be alright. I know you have no reason to put any stalk in the words of a woman you've never met, but if you met her, I think you'd understand. Aunt Cheryl is almost always right. I just thought hearing that hearing this might be able to at least make you laugh if nothing else. Bill and I are praying as always. I thank God that His peace that surpasses understanding is washing over you and I hope your weekend with your sisters fills you with strength and joy. You are blessed and loved.

I'm so glad your sisters got to spend some time with you, and it is WONDERFUL news that there is no cancer in your organs. The Lord gave me some scripture for you:
Lamentations 3:22ff "yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness . . ."

This is such a large burden to have put upon you. Yet I feel hopeful at the thought of you. There is so much around us to be grateful for. I feel I have only recently become aware of how much I truly have, contrary to whatever it is I may still want. You strike me as someone who has always known the many wonderful things you have, from breath and laughter to your husband and son. It is this gift and power of gratitude that makes me know you will walk away from this experience, unscathed, with more strength and more knowledge.
We are all blessed. Some of us have a harder time believeing we deserve that worth. You know your worth, and your power. It is obvious from the life you lead and the wonderful people who surround and love you. The power of love and joy and abundance can control the universe. you have them all and that has already healed you.
I wish health and long living love and happiness to you and all those around you. I hope your men are well and taking extra good care of you. Make sure you get a good dose of ice cream with chocolate. Seriously it’s good for you, I swear. I read it…in a thing, about ice cream. Seriously, it’s true.

So sorry to hear of your recent trials. I can’t begin to imagine what you are going through (and your husband, etc.). You’ve had to make some very difficult decisions. I want you to know that you are in our prayers. Remember that God is in control. Nothing happens that He doesn’t know about. Isn’t He great! Keep looking up (except when you are driving–HaHa!)!
