Sorry I haven't written yet but I have been praying for you and am keeping updated on your encouragement site. (Sol, you are a wonderful husband and I am amazed at your support and obvious love for your beautiful wife). Even though it's not always easy, we all appreciate your updates and hearing how you're feeling so we can go through this with you as much as possible. Let God wrap you in His arms as He desires to do, sick or not. May He soothe your discomfort, worries, and anger in those rough times. And let the joy of the good times linger.

Hey There Beautiful Woman!

I am SO SORRY I didn’t make it out on Sunday. Your hat is still sitting in the back seat of my car waiting to be given to you. From what I understand you received a TON of hats and all of them look fabulous on you. But THIS ONE… THIS ONE is super pimp! Anyhow… perhpas I can come by some time this week? Give a hug. Make you laugh. Smooch a kid. Bequeath a hat. You know how we do! SO MUCH LOVE TO YOU! And all my prayers. Woman… you had me in church the other day. CHURCH! I though the place would come crashing down around me.. but instead, it strengthened me in a way I’d forgotten. Look at that… YOU’RE helping ME! Kinda backwards… but I’m still grateful to you and you in are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Big squishiness all the way around and give me a buzz if you have a free night and can find a place in your home for another hat! Kisses, love and hugs!

As for going bald, its a sacrifice but I've noticed that when the hair grows back, it tends to come back beautifully! Its just the time until it comes in.

Hello Monica and Sol and Kai, My computer skills are limited, but
God is not. My heartfelt prayers have been going out for you since I heard of your diagnosis. Monica, you have a special place in my heart, for reasons partly connected to
Darren, but mostly because of the person I know you are in
Christ. If your beautiful hair falls out, you will still be the best-looking bald lady in town, and it will grow back. One of my favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11 - "I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.." I had lunch with a dear friend the other day, who is going through KEMO and she had on all this shiny jewelry. She said it makes her feel better to be all glitzy.
