Hi Monica,
I just wanted you to know that I was serious about the babysitting thing. I teach morning and night classes on Mon-Thurs, but Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays I am free. So, if you ever need to go anywhere or you just need a break, call me. I can deal with a fussy baby. Trust me, I’m great with kids!!! Please don’t hesitate to call… God Bless.

Love,
Priscilla

Monica & Sol,

You are in our prayers every night:)

Here's a quote I have lived by in times when I thought God was throwing me curveballs : "For all that God has shown me, I believe in all that God has not shown me"
and for me, my son is proof this, cause he is the best thing to ever happen to me.

I can tell from all the journal entries that you have proof of your own! We'll keep praying for you and kiss Kai for us!

We love you,
Juliana & Baby AJ

Hi Monica, The praying continues. Sometimes when I cannot sleep I am praying that you are sleeping....a deep sweet, restful sleep with healing in each breath.Praising God for the reduction you feel in the tumor.Did you see the gal from Good Morning America? She shaved head on TV...same cancer?Hugs, ~Laura Carson

Hey Monica - - You make bald look goooood!! Could your eyes look any bigger?!?!?!? You look fantastic! I can’t wait to see the wig pics, though. My Aunt Linda (who left a note for you) had a blondish wig at my cousins wedding in April & we hardly recognized her! It was great! She was also a brunette. I would love to see you in a ’knock em dead’ red!! Keep that beautiful smile. Hugs to you and your family! We love you and pray for complete healing! Our God is great and I know first hand he can perform miracles! Much love, girl!

Hi Monica!
I have not talked to you since the Simpson days. But I stay informed about you and the rest of the group through Michela. I found out through her about your diagnosis. I just spent the last hour combing through your website, reading and looking at the pictures. You have such a beautiful family! Kai is adorable. And, really, I must say, you have the most perfect shape head I have ever seen! I also wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you and your family. I coordinate our church’s prayer web, so I will be adding you to that as well. That’s just another 100 people praying for you! Gid bless you!

Monica I enjoyed talking to at the support group, I was glad your sparits were up. Thats something Rebecca (my wife) had to drum into me, and trying to keep a positive attatude was hard at times.
I pray todays chemo will do its work, but won’t be to hard on you.

Hello Monica, 11-14-07

I am so blessed to know you and your family. I just love Sol in our "Top Gun" Bible Study. When Sol speaks, everyone listens carefully, especially me because I have a wife, Carol, with Ovarian Cancer.

But I want to talk about you and my prayers for you. In prayer this week, I didn't ask God to remove enough of the tumor so your doctor could operate to remove the remaining cancer.

I told God, "Why am I asking you that kind of a question when I know that You can remove that tumor with NO surgery involved". I have prayed for this all this week at least once a day and usually more because I can't get you and your family out of my head.

I have enough faith in the Lord to know that he can, and I believe, WILL heal you Monica.

I also pray for your emotional strength and that you relax more so that you can sleep. I also pray for Kai as Sol has told me about his recent problems. I pray that Kai also sleep through the night.

Please know I am YOUR prayer warrior AND know the procedures you will go thru this week. As I write this I know you are receiving chemotherapy and tomorrow you will receive your white blood cell booster shot. May God be with you in all these procedures and may HE AND ONLY HE HEAL YOU. I know you won't need surgery Monica.

In God's glorious name I pray for you, Amen
