Sol, you have a lot going on right now. Your out of town trips to co-ordinate, making sure Kai is taken care of, work related stress, CD, and the biggest one could very well be grief..... lot's of new, unknown emotions to be dealt with. Don't ignore any symptoms of anything. Have them looked into. You will probably feel a great sense of loss at various times and for probably unexplained reasons....other than the obvious ones.... Love you and kai!!

Dear Sol,
It is sooo good to hear there is some good news and some good feelings coming your way. You deserve them. I am excited about your music. I remember the times we talked when you worked in Mendota. The CD you gave me became one of my all time favorites. So much so that my friends said, "Can we listen to something else for awhile?" I would love to purchase a copy, just let me know how.
The Jet Blue pass sounds like a great opportunity for you!! Time away will be nice. And, connecting to long distant friends even better. Your good news brought tears to my eyes! I am happy for you that something feels good. Love Gloria

My heart continues to hurt for you, Sol. I know lonliness, depression and everything that goes with it. All feelings I would never wish on anyone. I am so sorry...for you, Kai and Monica. The other night Kathy Sackrison and I were talking about Monica. It was nice to share some thoughts and feelings with her. There isn't a day go by that I don't think of her, Kai and you. I find myself saying out loud to Monica, "I am so sorry, Monica" No one can relieve your lonliness. That comes with time. You are loved and thought of daily by many many people. Me included. We have been thinking and talking about Monica often this week also. Sometimes three months seems like SO long ago. We still have your postcard from your Mexico trip on our fridge, so you are never far from our thoughts. I am grateful that you continue to post your thoughts, whatever emotions they may reveal...you help all of us who love your family to work through our own grief as well. We are still thinking of you often, and are grateful for your life stories on this website. I think Kai & Owen would be good friends if given the chance. I just love this age...Owen says just the funniest things and makes me laugh all the time. I'm thankful that you have Kai to keep the joy & laughter present in your house. I hope you are enjoying this time with him, although hard without mommy around to share it with, it is a precious time for you both to grow & find strength in each other. He is a blessed little boy to have such an amazing da-doo:)

What a neat post about Kai and his new jet... This is just the beginning of so many of those "WOW" moments, when our children teach us to be humble....

Hi Monica, Sol and Kai. We’re think of you guys constantly and will continue to keep you in our prayers. We’re looking forward to playing some board games in the near future.

Our hearts are saddened by Monica’s passing. It’s difficult times like these I just don’t know what to say,
