Thank you so much for keeping us up to date. I missed eating your turkey for Thanksgiving and really miss you both. We are praying daily for you and you actually look gorgeous bald. I do ask that you don't pick the Cher wig though. I wish you both were here so I could babysit Kai for you but am so encouraged that you have a rainbow of friends there helping you. Sol you are an awesome husband and I am glad it was you doing the shaving. God loves you and we love you and Monica just keep smiling. Love, Alicha

after reading your last message i had lots to say. I have delt with kids for 28 years. You must decide to change the habit of your son spleeping. I well take a few nights fo crying but it well not take long. you might needs ear plugs or turn on music dont stand outside his door, that is very hard to do. If you know that he is not wet,or hungry so sick. Give his stuff for the teeth. love him and put him in his bed and do not look back. It does work!! talk to neighbors let them know whats up. Ifyou do go in just do what is needed d not talk or make eye contact. he well make and so well you too. I love you both and want the best for you. Please let it work for you. It could take a week. wellbe praying for this. love lisa

Monica and Sol,

I wanted you to know that I am so thankful that you are faithfully keeping up your site! I check-in everyday to see how you guys are doing and read every word! Your last entery was great, Sol! It is amazing to see your faith grow through all of this when you could just choose to be angry with God and not see any of his goodness. There is so much we can all learn from you. And Monica, I am so glad that I ran into you Saturday…even if for a minute! You look wonderful….really amazing! Your head is beautifully shaped and your eyes just SHINE! We are continuing to pray for your WHOLE family!

And on another note…I know it is hard to ask for help. But please know that we would so enjoy making things easier for you so please, please don’t feel giulty taking us up on the offer. Especially to watch Kai…I have 3 crazy little boys and know what to expect!=0) They would probably be a big distraction for him too…lot’s of fun!!!

Sol, I love what you just wrote about in the your top ten list. It's all rather poignant. I was just thinking about you guys and said a little prayer; I came across this from Max Lucado...he says that "You have never lived an unloved moment in your life." That may not always "feel" true but it always is true. You are loved. You are loved. You are loved. And as children of the most high God it is our call to live with grateful hearts every day of our lives, not because we always welcome the circumstances we find ourselves in but rather because of whose care we are in. Please don't ever doubt, no matter what, that you ARE loved.

Also, tell Monica that she needs to try on a red wig.. kiss Kai and I pray he starts to sleep better as well as you.

I just wanted you to know that I was serious about the babysitting thing. I teach morning and night classes on Mon-Thurs, but Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays I am free. So, if you ever need to go anywhere or you just need a break, call me. I can deal with a fussy baby. Trust me, I’m great with kids!!! Please don’t hesitate to call… God Bless.
