Hi Monica and Sol,

Laurie and my thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom had breast cancer and surgery 20 years ago and is a survivor and this last year she had open heart surgery with a triple bypass and valve replacement and she will be 80 in April. Point being, the doctors can do a lot these days so hang in there! Sol, I voted on all three of my email addresses and it looks like you made the finals so I did it again.

Our prayers are with you,

Dan and Laurie Dreher

Monica,
I am a friend of your Aunt Debbie Polk in Idaho. She shared your story with me because I was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago. I am 58 years old and was truly NOT expecting it. I had two surgeries, four chemo treatments, 6.5 wks of radiation, and am on Herceptin IV tr eatments for a year since my cancer was HER2+. I am nearly done with the Herceptin and can hardly wait to have the chemo port taken out. I noticed in your messages that they hard time with the IV…that’s because the chemo collapses your veins…At least, that is what I was told. I had to have a port put in because the herceptin IV treatments lasted a year and it made it easier to access the veins.

I lost my hair (it’s back now) and didn’t feel quite myself the whole time, but I’m almost back to normal, regaining my strength and positive outlook.

I wish you the best and if you ever need support from another person who has ’been there’ just let me know…by the way, You and your family are beautiful…

Hey guys just want you to know we are still here on your team, people ask me about my necklace and I share your story... I found out my good friend Jenny Trock got some from you and gave them to some of her friends as well!! So one day I'll see someone in Orofino with the same necklace that I don't even know and find out we are in the same "inner circle"!!! Pretty cool, huh???
Love you guys and holding you close to our hearts!!!!

Hey Monica & Sol,
Thanks for the Inner Circle doobers. I kept one and passed the others on to praying friends. One (my co-worker) has a daughter in Alaska who looks amazingly like you, Monica. The other 2 friends are breast cancer survivors - one here in Idaho and the other in Tupelo, MS. So many people are praying for you. I read a book by a WW2 survivor once. He had been shot down and was a prisoner during the war. Years later, when he was a CEO for a big corporation, when he'd get into a high-pressure situation and get stressed out, he'd tell himself, "Well, nobody's shooting at me!" I have tried to adopt this saying in my life to add a little humor when things get tough. I haven't faced anything like you are now facing, but still, this might help you to laugh sometimes. We continue to pray for your complete and rapid healing. Nothing is impossible with our great God. May He fill you both with His peace and joy. God bless.

Hey Guys,
Well by the sounds of it, we need to have Chad & Isiaah pay another visit! And heres a lil verse that I am sure you have read before. Hopefully it will lift your spirits....
"And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction." Mark 5:34
You are already healed!!!!
Happy New Year,
Nanette =0)

I am glad to hear the "no more chemo" news. Wayne & I both are keeping you and Sol in our prayers. Wayne wears the cirlce around his neck even to work.
Wayne's CAT scan is the 3rd and will see the oncoligist on the 14th of Jan.

Our hearts are saddened by Monica’s passing. It’s difficult times like these I just don’t know what to say,
other than Peggy and I will continue to pray for you and your family.
