Just a note to let you know that we are thinking of you, Sol and Kai. You are in our prayers and I pray that God's presence and peace will be very special to all of you during the CT scan and while waiting for the results. Please remember that you are very special to Him and He carries you close to His heart.

Monica,

I am thinking about you as you start off the school year today! We will pray that you have an exceptionally amazing group of students who are extra blessings to you. And I pray for your health. That God would protect you from all of those germs...even the ones that Kai brings home from school! AND that you have very little or no side effects from your next treatment Friday! You sound like you have a great, full weekend coming up that you need all your strength for!

Love to you, you are always in my thoughts....

Hello Monica and Sol,

First, let me introduce myself, I am Jason Hammack's Step-Mother, Karen, and he shared your site with his Dad and me. I spent last evening and all morning reading your entire site and I cannot figure out where to begin this e-mail ......... After I finished reading and regrouping, the first thing I did was pray and I prayed like I never have before, to not only give you healing, but to help me express how very much your struggle has affected me...Your attitude is remarkable and I know that comes from your faith in God !! What it has done for me, reading about your experience, is realize how much I take my life for granted, as well as my relationship with the Lord. I wish, so very much, that there was something I could do to help you, but one thing you can depend on is me praying for you MANY times a day ... I am going to send your site to all of my friends and have as many people as I can, around the U.S., put you on their daily prayer list as well. Thank you for being such a great inspiration to me and making me feel very humble ~ something we all need to be reminded of.

If ever there is anything I can do to help, come cook, babysit, clean ~ whatever, I am more than happy to help. I pray that chemo tomorrow goes without any bad side-effects and that your blood count is where it needs to be.

Hugs,
Karen Hammack

Hi Monica!

I check up on you on a regular basis and pray for you daily! Your strength amazes me, your husband is an amazing man, even though I don't know him, I read about him through your site. Your a great team and I admire the two of you.

On a lighter note...have you been watching the Olympics this year? I watched some of the volleyball games and have been wanting to play so bad! I might join the rec. v-ball just to get it out of my system. I am affraid I won't get off the ground though! Too funny, but it has been a good 13 years since Butte College! ahhh!!!! So long ago! Anyway, it just brought back some good times too watching the games, back in H.S. watching you set that ball with such skill. Good times..good times.. Only if we had a coach who new what he was doing. He was a good man, but I had no idea how much I needed to learn after high school.

Anyway, I better get some house work done before everyone wakes up. Just thinking about you and wanting to say hello. Your amazing and strong. Keep up the fight!

Love,
Kristi Jensen-Rolfe
