Hi there,

I saw the link for your website on the Simpson facebook page. I remember you from school, Monica, although we did not know each other well. We definitely had some friends in common.

We are praying for you in Austin, Texas.

Annie.

Hi Monica,
Someone at bible study told me about your website. I love it! I just want you to know that I think about you and pray for you all the time. I know you have a great support network, but let me know if there's anything I can do to help out.
God Bless!
Jill

Hi Monica and Sol,

My heart aches for you guys as you struggle through this ordeal. I pray continually for His strength to be yours and His presence to be gentle and sustaining. I pray that in His grace and mercy that He will speak that healing word and wholeness will be yours.

I pray that God's peace will surround Kai and comfort him and give him rest and guard his heart and mind.

I pray that as the deep, deep love of Jesus carries you both and lifts you up close to His heart that you both will truly know His comforting presence.

Oh Monica,

I can only imagine how helpless Sol feels but I can't help but agree that the Lord paired you two together with Jesus in the middle. Just as Sol held you, Jesus is holding the both of you. There are many of us praying for the three of you. I wish we were closer too.

Hey Monica,

Just wanted to say hi, thinking of you. I don't think there are any words that can ease your pain but just know that we are praying for you and hope for some relief of any kind.

I'm still thinking of you over here. I can't begin to imagine the day to day struggles you have. My heart goes out to the 3 of you. May He be enough for you today.

Love and hugs from Kazakhstan.

Lord,
As Monica faces the pain, give her courage. Lord she is fighting so hard. Give her peace in this fight and please continue to fight for her. Lord, give Monica the wisdom of when to ask for help. There are so many around her who are willing to be the hands and arms of Jesus for her. We know she would willingly help someone else... help her reach out to those around her to ask for their help.

Give Sol the wisdom of when to step in and when to let Monica do it herself. Lord, right now it seems discouraging. Encourage them both with Your eternal love.

Most especially, Lord, give Monica relief from the pain. Our desire is that it would come in a way that to us seems supernatural. But, Lord, all aspects of life with You are supernatural, so help them both to see it. If the relief from pain comes without the aid of human medicine, then please do it, and quickly, Lord. If it takes human medicine, then Lord, help the doctors to see the way to help with medication.

Father, our desire, our hearts' desire is that you would heal Monica. It is so hard to see her go through this. Father, step in and wrap Your arms of loving quietude around her spirit, and around the super-activated pain sensors in her body that seem to be on raw edges. Place healing balm on each nerve and let the quieting of those nerves flow frim the inside out.

Lord, give Monica restful sleep at night. Let her mind find rest in You, and let her body find pain-free sleep. Father, in the mornings, there there be not only a vision of hope, but a real awareness of hope that You are there in each and every second of the day. When Monica feels as though You are distant, come into the room and envelope her with Your warm, loving presence. Give her constant reminders of Your moment by moment presence.

Pardon for sin and peace that endureth,
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide.
Hope for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all theirs and ten-thousand beside.
Great is Thy faitfulness, Great is Thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning new mercies we see.
All they have needed, Your hand has provided.
Great is Thy faithfulness, Great is Thy faithfulness, Great is Thy faithfulness! Lord unto them.
In Jesus' name, amen.

Monica,
It is difficult to read the heart wrenching words you write; it feels like someone reached into my heart and pulled it out while it’s still beating. What ever you do, don’t give up or give in to Satan. Fight him at every moment with every breath you take. Don’t let him wear you down. I know you’re tired and this journey is not easy; God didn’t promise easy. He promised to be by your side and carry you at all times during all circumstances. God will give you all the strength and endurance that you need and your testimony will be huge. So Monica, today bring Jesus all that you have to offer, all that you love, your family, your child, your pain; and once more with your faith trust in God’s goodness and mercy. He will sustain you, He will love you, He will give you rest, He will comfort you, He will smile upon you, He will give you hope and take away your fear; He will give you everything you need, as He always has. Nothing can separate you from His love, nothing, nothing, not cancer, not your moments of despair, not even moments of anger. Cling to Him at every moment of every day. May you always feel His presence and hear His tender words. Just be still and listen, for He speaks His love to you, Sol and Kai. I know this first hand.

You say you married the best man alive (can’t argue that); but, he also married the best woman alive. God brought you two together for His pleasure; the two of you exemplify what a Godly marriage should be. Every one around you that sees how you both are dealing with this horrific ordeal, can see what love is all about; love for each other and love for your Heavenly Father. You may never know all the seeds you have planted during this time, but God knows and He will water them. He will use this situation for good. It may not always seem that way, but never doubt any of His promises. My favorite word is Believe! Believe with all your heart that you are in God’s loving arms; just look in your husband’s face and your son’s eyes and see the face of God! He is that close.

You are loved,
Oralia

Monica -

My heart breaks for you but I trust in God and His goodness. He has taught me (and others) so much through you. Take comfort in the fact that you are in His hands and that he loves you more than we can even know.
