Hi Sweet Monica and Sol and Kai! I have not seen you within hollerin' or huggin' distance for a long time, but please know that we love you and you are still in our prayers. And my mom, one of the best prayer-warriors I know, has been praying for you, too.

Reading your heart, Monica, as you write about this journey, I am amazed and overwhelmed and blessed at the strength and faith that you have and your authenticity with your fears and pain. I pray that you always feel Gods loving arms holding and sheltering you and giving you the sustenance and strength to face each new day. I hope the transfusion was not nearly as frightening as you anticipated it to be. I'm glad Martha was with you.

And Sol, I pray for you to experience God's strength in your weakness- and that you will allow yourself to be weak. This must be so difficult for you to watch...and to be unable to fix...and to wonder what ever good purpose could God have in mind by allowing this!?!? I know because of some things we have gone through with our daughter, Bonni. So, I just want to tell you that God is very good about allowing his children to rail and scream at him and be angry, and having them tantrum in his loving hands. So- if there is the need, and you haven't yet...GO FOR IT! He understands and hurts with you and remains your loving Shepherd. Even if it feels like he is far away.

And little Kai...you have a precious Mom and Dad, and you are all surrounded by lots of love and hugs and prayers. God has good plans for you, little one. A hope and a future. And you are under his watch-care.

Love to you all- Lori

Monica,
I'm in tears reading your entries. I am so encouraged by your strength...you are SO very strong and amazing. You will find another treatment that will work! I encourage you to write that song you were talking about..."fight, fight, fight!" Lord, please heal my friend, and take away any pain or discomfort. Be with her as she goes through this blood transfusion, and make her body strong. May these tumors miraculously disappear, Lord! In Jesus Name!! Amen!

Dear Monica, Sol and Kai, This recent news is so difficult to hear. We pray that there will be still more options for your treatment. We lift you up to the Father in heaven for his healing touch, and thank him for giving us the knowledge that he is indeed the worker of miracles. Your family is precious to God and to so many of us here on earth. May he bring you peace and hope to carry you through this trial. We love you.

Monica and Sol,
I can't imagine what you are feeling right now. I sit her numb from your news. I keep thinking now that it seems the Nexavar is not doing the job that leaves even more room for God's hand.
Please, dear Father, heal our friend Monica. Please remove each tumor with your hand. Thank you for the faith you have given both Sol and Monica knowing that it would just take a thought from you and she would be healed. Please heal her dear Lord. Thank you for your sovereign will. In Jesus name amen.
With continued prayer and hope in Him.

Kenita
