Kristi Johnson/Harper just forwarded your website to me. I had no idea you had cancer. First, through my tears, you look beautiful! My heart is heavy with hurt knowing and reading all that you have gone through and are still going through. I feel as though I am going through it with you! I just mean that I woud be feeling all the you are feeling and how you are writing it all. Thank you for your raw honesty. I don't even know what to say, but it is so good to see your sweet face and smile...Seeing Deb's and the girls that came to visit you, feels like we were in our dorm room, you drinking pitcher after pitcher of Kool Aide, wanting to play volleyball constantly, Deb studying/sleeping all night from your small notes all over her paper, Michela slurping w/ her towel at hand to wipe her drooling mouth from her retainer. I haven't seen everyone in years.

Are you at home full time? Are your days around going to your treatments? How have you physically recovered from your Masectomy? I realize most of this has been going on, but I am just now finding out and my heart aches that I just am now knowing...Only b/c I would love to have talked w/ you so many times. Already you have been in my prayers...I am going to have all of my friends praying for you! even people that aren't my friends! How do you feel each day? Your son is adorable, by the way..what a blessing to have kids! Is it hard to be energized for him, or does he energize you? I am sorry I am hounding you with questions...I so care and would have loved to come down w/ the ladies to be with you! I love you friend and thank you for always being a steady friend with an amazing heart for God...Like His little beam of sunshine here on earth for Him...You are in my prayers! Monica , just wanted to drop a note to tell you that you are my first prayer of the morning and last prayer of the night. I haven't seen you in a long while but I wanted you to know that I pray daily for you and your family. I think of all the times you came in to pick up Kai when I was working the infant room and I could see what a wonderful mommy you are- he is a very loved little boy. Many prayers have been sent up from all the ladies at L"n" L and will continue.
