Hi Sol and Kai,
I was very happy to read your good news about getting a house! Congratulations! You know we have our big van, so as you are moving things over a little at a time, let us know if we can take a load for you. I still think of you every morning when I drive to school. And I still have that bag of clothes for Kai! God bless you both and keep you in his care.
Love,
Lark and Family
PS I have some Egyptian art prints up in my classroom right now - Monica loaned them to me the year she became reading coach. They're a nice, gentle reminder of her during my school day...

Hi Sol, I did not know of you and Monica except that both of you were on our bibke prayer bookmark at Northwest Church. I just yesterday asked Frank about who you were after seeing posts on facebook. He sent me the link to this this blog. I can only say I am so sorry for your loss. After reading this and crying along with you what I saw throughout it all was an amazing woman and the loves of her life. You both kept the faith throughoput the whole journey and made each and everyday a blessing filled with memories that you will carry with you forever. Kai is a most adorabnle young boy that has had to endure more in his short life than thought humanly possible. He will grow into an amazing young man through the love you give him and you are absolutely doing right by him trying to keep things as consistent as possible. You both have many difficult times ahead but with Christ as the center of your life along with all your memories you will succeed as the amazing father Monica knew you to be. I am sad that I didnt know her as she was a phenominal women. I wish you good luck in your music and look forward to seeing and hearing about Kai as he grows up. you are so blessed to have been able to share the experience of becoming parents before she went to heaven. God Bless you now and always.

Congratulations, Sol, on the new house! That's so exciting, and I love that it has some of the features that Monica would have liked. Looking forward to seeing pictures of you both in your new place after you're settled.

Happy Birthday Sol. I know there are so many mixed emotions. Things can't be easy now at all. Just know that you are loved. Hope I can make it to Whittier to help you move in to your new home. Think about you and Kai and Monica all the time. You are all constantly in my prayers.

"I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears. My eye has wasted away with grief" (Psalm 6:6-7 NASB). Heavenly God, I cannot even begin to put my grief in a time frame. Thank you that I don't have to. Comfort me and support me as I lean on You. Amen.

Hi Sol and Kai,
I feel sorta helpless wishing that there was some word or message or action that I could say or do to help but there isn't. But I do think of you and Kai and remember the two of you in my prayers. We haven't forgotten you.

Sol,
Our hearts are saddened by Monica’s passing. It’s difficult times like these I just don’t know what to say,
other than Peggy and I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Love,
Manny & Peggy
