Dear Sol and Kai,
Our hearts go out to you and we grieve along with you. We are so sorry to lose our dear friend, but grateful to know beyond doubt that she is with the Lord forever. Sol,
I have never met you, but I feel like I know you and your family. I met your mom through work. I have been praying for keeping track of Monica and your family ever since Oralia told me about Monica having cancer.
I want you to know how very sorry I am for your loss, but I know you will find comfort in knowing she is with Jesus and in no more pain. Though I know you will miss her terribly.
Without even knowing her, I could tell she was a bright shining light and I know she will continue to shine on you and Kai from heaven.
It will be a hard road ahead, but I pray for God to wrap arms around you and hold you tight.
God be with you and your family.

We will always remember Monica as someone who was full of life, smiling and laughing. A joy here on earth she is a treasure in heaven. Our prayers and thoughts go to each of you as we await the great family reunion.

I was so saddened this morning about the news, but so relieved that Monica is no longer suffering. I will share with you, that your loss is being felt here at McCabe Junior High as the staff hears the news. Most of us will remember Monica's wit, those crazy dress-up days, and watching the two of you fall in love. Our hearts are saddened. We will think of you, and pray for your comfort. As someone else stated, Monica is now an angel. She was a wonderful person and friend. Love to you, gloria and the rest of the McCabe Junior High staff.

Hi Monica, Sol and Kai. We’re think of you guys constantly and will continue to keep you in our prayers. We’re looking forward to playing some board games in the near future.
