Sol, You are an amazing man and father. You are always thinking of ways to do the "right thing" . Just with all the love in your thinking process you are all ready at an advantage. You are doing everything it takes to get through. I think you are being very successful. Keep Healing I still miss Monica myself. I prayer quite a bit for you and kai to have peace.

I haven't been on this sight for soooo long, but you and Monica have been on my mind. I knew the 1 year anniversary was near but actually forgot the date. Not long ago, at school, a piece of mail came addressed to Monica Lepper...maybe she sent it after all of these years!! A reminder that she is still with us. I am sorry for the turmoil Kai is having and for your grief! As i sit her with my own emotions, I can only image your feeling!

Congrats on the new house. Yes, Monica would have loved it!!! But she love you and Kai more than any house!!!

We remember Monica and all the qualities that God put in her to make her the wonderful person she is. Thank God we have a certainty that we will be with her some day (soon).

Sol, I just read your blog and it brought tears to my eyes. My heart goes out to you and to Kai. I love that he lays there talking to God and his mommy. I think kids are so close to God and they have spiritual eyes that adults don't always have (I guess we are too cynical). I can't tell you how you are going to feel or even pretend that our experiences are the same but I was derailed by depression this "second" year. I've always heard that it was the first year that was the hardest but I think I was still numb and once it wore off...oh my!! I hope and pray that it's not the same for you but be forewarned.

I don't know if you want to be part of the Relay at all this year but know that we would love to have you on our team. I'm sure it's a very hard thing to do but just know that we are here for you.

I'm praying for you and Kai and you are always in my heart and mind. Take care.
