Monica’s Memorial Slide Show

Thank you to everyone who came to Monica’s memorial sevice this past weekend.  It was great to have all the support.  I wanted to share the slide show with everyone; especially for those that didn’t make it to the service.  Many of you know that Monica was an avid photographer.  I went through over 50,000 pictures to do this slide show.  It took three days!  I wish I could have put hundreds more in the slide show, but it is already 15 minutes long.  🙂  Thanks to everyone who sent pictures also.

It was/is stunningly beautiful, Sol. You did a great job. The memorial was so incredibly moving – and you gave her such a fitting, stirring, loving tribute. I’m not sure how you managed, even though you’re one of the strongest people I know. You definitely did yourself & your beautiful wife proud.

    I love you.

That was was the most powerfully beautiful tribute I have ever seen! It may never be known just how many lives that Monica has touched in the last year and a half. Her legacy may never fully be known to you and Kai. But I can say that her short life, and the way she lived it, has affected hundreds and more than likely thousands of people! I know that all of my friends, family, Karen’s friends and family followed Monica daily and celebrated her accompolishments! Likewise we shared in her set backs. If I were to have had a daughter, I would have wanted one just like your wife!

She truly was a gift to all!!!

May God bless you all the days of your life!

Thank you again Sol for sharing her, and the journey you went through, so openly with everyone. We’ll cherish this video forever. We cherish our time spent with her and want you to know we mean it when we say we are always here for you and Kai. Kelly wants to remind you that there’s always a tri-tip waiting in Fresno!

    Love you!

Sol I want to thank you for sharing the video of Monica with those who were not at the service. You did a beautiful job on it and what a wonderful gift for Kai to have.
I feel I have been blessed in the 18 months I’ve been following Monica and though I didn’t know her personally, she left a very deep impression on my heart. I believe that through her ordeal many non praying people began to pray and many of those may have even went on to accept Christ.
I will continue to keep you and Kai in my prayers as you deal with the many emotions that will come your way over time.

May God keep you and bless you both.

What a wonderful tribute to Monica’s life.. She was beautiful beginning to end! I met Monica at Simpson College, she was an amazing person and really has touched so many lives.. I pray for you and Kai, that God be your Peace and Comfort in the times to come and that every footstep you make that He will be in the center of it..
